DOGS ARE THE BEST

They are referred to as our “best friend”. For thousands of years, our relationship with dogs has grown so strong that neither species ever questions that we belong together. During our (too) short time together, dogs never stop teaching us; shaping us into better people and ultimately a better society as a whole. Dogs have been our eyes, ears, emotional support, medical alerts, helpers, farm hands, security, rescue, detectives, and at times, even our counselors and psychologists (though not accredited). They give us so much while expecting very little in return. Dogs do however, need our love and respect, but unfortunately humans have been far more on the receiving end of a dog’s love and loyalty than dogs have received from humans. 

If we can be their voice, and advocate for a safe, loving environment for every dog out there, then maybe we can start to pay back the immeasurable debt that all of humankind owes to dogs. There are so many worthy charities out there that support our canine friends. It would be truly wonderful if you took the time to look some up and support one (or more) that speaks to you, or better yet, speaks to your dog. Do it for them.
